According to Machine Finder, various models of farming equipment were displayed at Ridgeway Park in Red Bluff, California through an event that was hosted by the Nor-Cal Tractor and Engine Club. With 175 members, the club held a three-day exhibition with the intention of highlighting the upcoming growing season. Other organizations, such as the Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association and the Spring Gas-Up at Ridgeway Park, assemble events that showcase antiques and used farm equipment.
With an average of 30 to 40 tractors appearing at kick-off events, popular antiques such as the 1951 Classic John Deere model tractor. According to the owner, this particular piece of equipment is one of the first models that included a starting motor. Newly released models are also showcased at these events, allowing spectators to become interested in the advancements of major manufacturers like John Deere.
